Sometimes my iMac freezes while I open the Google maps site or I play any game from Steam. During this bug, a strange thing appears on the screen (it is on the screenshot). In this time an iMac fan works with max power and very loudly. I have to restart my iMac manually.
What I already did: reset SMC, reset NVRAM, reinstall macOS.
iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017), macOS 10.15.2

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Have you blown the dust out of the intakes lately?
What temperatures does this App report?
This App can be used to speed up the fans, all my iMacs would be dead without it.
Never ever ever drop fan speeds below the speed that the Mac itself is calling for.

I take it you have a Wireless Keyboard, can you borrow or get aWired one to safe Boot?

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck.
During this problem, the keyboard and the mouse don't work. I am forced to reboot the iMac with a button. I didn't notice it in Safe Mode because this occurs from time to time.

This problem arises from time to time. The iMac is slow in safe mode, but the system temperature is normal.
