I am planning to buy a used Macbook Air for college but don't know if I should get a 2014 one.

I'll ask him to update the macbook air to mojave if possible. Then I'll test it again to see if it'll lag or freeze with the update and if it doesn't I'll buy it from him.

Thank you very much, when I first tested it, I saw the display didn't have a lot of contrast. Comparing to my mother's macbook air from 2017.
