Why i cannot log out of the find my iphone app

If people don't have your Apple ID and passcode, they can't track you in Find My unless you let them.

On the newer phone, the only way to log out of Find My is to turn Find My iPhone off, which you don't wish to do. You can contact Apple directly to speak to them, or you can provide them feedback here, Feedback - iPhone - Apple You have the option to lock your device when you are not using it rather than wait for auto-lock if you wish by using the side button.
Im trying to log out of the app because i have 7 devices in the find my iphone app but I don’t have all the devices with me so its good that i can keep track of me divices but I don’t want any other person that has one of my devices to be able to trace my devices or me which is why i find it stupid that apple did that if anybody steals my phone and it happens to be unlock when the steal it then they have access to the location of my other devices

You might want to consider not sharing an Apple ID with someone you don't trust.
Thats not the problem. The problem is not been able to log out of the app!!!!! And not had to turn the find my iphone location off if i want to log out of the app which i find stupid why couldn’t they leave it as it was where you had to login to the app every time you want it to access it not only because is a stupid idea for security reason. But someone had to be lazy enough to not want to type in the password every time they want to use it.
You cannot log out of the new Find My. You have to go into iCloud and turn it off. Why are you trying to log out of the app?
How is that if all they need is my phone password the app does not ask for your apple ID or password no more? Its always active and all you have to do is open that app
It gets your Apple ID and password when you turn on Find My iPhone.
