I’m getting redirected to a CenturyLink browser even though Safari is my default browser - on both my iPhone and my iPad. I’ve closed Safari and removed browsing history on both but I’m still redirected. How do I remove whatever is doing this?

If you do not have such a browser installed on the device, then there cannot be a redirect to another browser. Are you sure that you are not referring to trying to open a particular website and you are being redirected to CenturyLink page? There is a difference.
Please describe exactly what you are doing and what is happening/showing on your screen.
