apple ID in second hand apple tv

So, I got this apple tv used.

In users and accounts theres only my apple ID

USERS

Current user: me

Apple TV Accounts:

icloud: me

game center: me

Mine is the only aco anywhere in users and accounts. However, few times a month it says "apple id verification" insert password for previous-users-apple-ID@icloud.com

Whats causing this?

What can I do?

You need to do a factory reset on the device so it thinks it's new again. You can learn how by clicking Reset or restore your Apple TV to its factory settings
