Is MacKeeper now a recommendable and safe application?

The makers of MacKeeper (Kromtech, now clario.co) claim that their software is a first-rate, necessary and safe utility for Macs, especially since it recently received the AppEsteem label.

Would you now recommend its use on our Macs, or not?

Please give a detailed and up-to-date argument, so that the whole community can easily form an opinion on the subject. Thank you!

Hi! Don’t blame me, but MacKeeper isn’t as bad as I thought. Last month I found out that my mom has it on her Mac. Of course, I argued with her and tried to uninstall it. But she explained she had got help from them with freezing and blocking ads.

She also uses it for findings of pictures duplicates as she is a knitting maniac and saves millions of schemes and ideas.

So now I have some doubts... Will see.
