In Contacts when you add related name it doesn’t keep what you selected

When I edited a contact. I added 3 related names. Chose Daughter and created Grandchild for two others. When I clicked save and looked at entry I saw it changed daughter to manager; (1st) grandchild to assistant and (2nd) grandchild to spouse. Re-edited it twice but it still went back to these.
