Can't connect macbook air to projector via HDMI

My macbook air is use Catalina version 10.15.2. However, it can't connect to the projector via HDMI. I have tested the adapter in IMac and it still work. So I think the problem is not from the adapter.


Besides, when I open the Display window. It not have detect/gather window or arrangement tab. So I don't know what could I do :<



Please help me :<

  • What happens when you connect the projector with an HDMI cable?
  • Do you receive a specific error message? If so, what’s the error message?
  • Are you able to connect it using another method?
