Apple music playlist showing on cars blue tooth but not on phone

I have a 2018 Toyota Corolla and a Iphone 8. I can play my music from my phone via the stereo's built in blue tooth (not car play). Recently i cancelled my Apple Music trial subscription as I wasn't really using it. I also re-synced my playlists from iTunes back to my phone. When i connect my phone to the cars blue tooth it shows several playlists that don't appear on my phone and when you attempt to play the music on these lists it plays random tracks from my music and opens a dialogue on my phone prompting me to subscribe to Apple Music. There are about 8 of these "ghost" playlists showing up in my car. They incluse what seem to be Apple Music suggestions based on what I listen too like "A Perfect Circle Family", "Korn Essentials" "Tool deep-cuts" and "Tool Next Step". How do I get rid of these playlists?

Hey there CSchindt76,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you have some unexpected playlist appearing after connecting your iPhone and car stereo. I’ll be happy to help.

Just to be sure, these playlist do not appear on your iPhone or computer at all? It’s only when you connect your iPhone and car stereo together? If so, the following steps may help.

Force quit the Music app and restart your iPhone:

How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone

Make sure your iPhone is up to date:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If your car stereo has any firmware updates, install those. Check your car manual for more info on this.

Test after taking these steps and see if the issue is still occurring. If it is, tap Settings > Bluetooth on your iPhone, find your car stereo, and tap the info button (looks like a small i), then Forget this Device. This will remove the accessory from the list of available Bluetooth devices.

Restart your iPhone and car and pair them back tougher again:

Let me know if this helps.
