Screen time limits

If I use the Screen Time setting to limit "All Apps & Categories" to 30 minutes, does that mean that I get a total of 30 minutes across all apps? Or do I get 30 minutes for each app?

Screen Time Hello, I just finished setting up screen time for my son, with specific time limits for 3 apps. His limit is 2 hours, but yesterday he surpassed that time. Does the 2 hour time limit apply to each individual app or collective usage over the apps. I was under the impression that it is the latter. Thanks
