Why is iTunes shows random junk characters?

This is what I get when I try to manage payment methods (I can't get past this screen to purchase a song):

I also got this screen at one point trying to open an apple music link:

Using latest iTunes app from Microsoft store on Windows 10.

"For you" | "Try it now" also shows junk.

Eventually after guessing what some of the fields/buttons were I was able to verify my billing info and was able to purchase a song. But obviously something's not right at all.

SOLVED: delete C:\Windows\Fonts\HelveticaNeue_0.ttf

That's it. And yes, I put it back and the problem reappeared.

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250301131 looks like the same issue too, but describes it as happening in Chrome which is interesting.

Appears to the same issue as: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8066958 reported some years ago.

Tried the suggestion (starting iTunes in 'safe mode') but no dice, screens are still displayed with garbled/garbage characters in a "weird font" as per poster's description.
