I see on my iPhone, the AirPod Pro battery is 80%, when I put them into the charging case just show me at 60%, why suddenly drop 20% battery, the battery visual on iPhone and AirPods Pro charging case is different
I actually have the same problem and got sent a replacement for the case but the problem still persist. I guess it’s a software problem or possibly the AirPods.
The previous version firmware 2B588 did not have this issue，i think is the software problem.
Connect your 'Pods to your device, and head to Settings > General > About > AirPods Pro. Once there, you can check the version number – 2C54 is the number you're looking for.
I am encountering these issues as well. I saw online that there is no way to force an update for your airpod pro so I’m not sure how to proceed with updating my Airpods. While I can try to follow suggestions online for updating the earbuds by placing them in their case on a charger near my phone, I am not even sure how to tell if my earbuds are up to date.
I agree I’m worried that Apple will consider my scratches on my old case as accidental damage(they are scratches from day to day use)
