My daughter has deleted her university dissertation by accident. She is inconsolable as it is due to be submitted on Monday 20th Jan.
We are trying to recover this ... its a simple word document which was inadvertently moved to trash and then deleted when emptying trash.......is it possible to recover??
You may be able to use a recovery application or utility; depending on if the item could be found
in the Mac. Assuming you've already looked in the Trash; it still may be found elsewhere. (Or not.)
IF your mac has been making Backups via Time Machine, those could be useful; if done in advance.
