How do you delete, rather than archive, in Mail on iMac
Mail keeps going to archive on my iMac when I delete them. How do I change this

On your iPhone or iPad:
if you are using iCloud mail:
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on your AppleID
- Tap on iCloud
- Scroll down until you see E-mail (at the very bottom of the window)
- Tap on E-mail
- Scroll down until you see 'Advanced'
- Tap on it and select to put deleted mails in Deleted instead of in Archive
If you are using e.g. Gmail:
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Passwords and accounts
- Tap on your account
- Tap on Account again
- Scroll down until you see 'Advanced'
- Tap on it and select to put deleted mails in Deleted instead of in Archive
