Switching off Bursts in Photos

I am new to iPhone and I was wondering where my data was disappearing to. Then I noticed that my photos had as many as 49 "Bursts". Uploading these to iCloud and downloading them to my other devices will mop up data. Is there a way to disable Bursts? Thanks for looking.

deleting photos on my iphone 11 pro I am unable to delete many of the photos on my iphone 11 and wonder why. I can select and delete some photos but not all. If you know why and how I can delete these photos, that would be very helpful. Please advise. Thanks.

I've now found a website that explains how to use Bursts: https://iphonephotographyschool.com/iphone-burst-mode/

so that is useful but I don't need Bursts in my photos of inanimate objects.

Thanks to Bursts I used 1.5 Gb of data in one day. My Plan has 10Gb for the month.
