Apple Music is greyed out

While making a slideshow I cannot select my own music because it is greyed out.

Apple Music cannot be used in a slideshow project. It is protected music, that cannot be converted to different formats. Apple Music is just for streaming and listening. If we could add Apple Music downloads to a soundtrack of a slideshow and then save the video of the slideshow, the protection would have been removed from the song file.

You can only use music without a digital right protection for your slideshow projects, songs you purchased from the iTunes Store, or songs you recorded and arranged yourself, for example with GarageBand, ripped songs from a CD that has no protection.
