Why is my keychain shared to unregistered device belonging to someone else?
I logged into a friend’s iPad and iTunes with my Apple ID about a year ago to use my iTunes account so we could watch a movie that I had paid for. I logged out again and logged them back in, but for some reason my password keychain and saved credit cards were shared to their iPad and iPhone. I never used or authorised their iPhone. Their iPad and iPhone didn’t/don’t appear as registered devices in my Apple account. They have just upgraded their iPhone to iPhone 10 and just showed me that all my keychain login options and passwords have somehow migrated to their new iPhone too. I only logged into their iPad once about a year ago but it seems that they now have permanent access to my keychain. None of their devices appear on my Apple account, but they can use my keychain to access my Facebook account and FB Messenger among other things. All my credit cards etc are available for autofill on their iPhone too (not too much of an issue as they don’t have my CVV’s, but still...). This is a real concern to me as I can’t figure out how to remove my keychain from their devices, or understand how my keychain ended up transferred to a new iPhone I have never even physically touched or logged into in the first place. If anyone can tell me how to remove my keychain from someone else’s phone I would appreciate it. For what it’s worth my friend lives on the other side of the country, so I don’t have physical access to the phone in question.
