Mail App deleted e-mails older than 30 days, is there a way to recover those e-mails? It also unavailable on website mail.

Hi there.

I Installed Mail App couple of months ago and started using it both on my MacBook Air and iPhone.

I was very surprised recently after I realised that cannot find/see e-mails older than one month?!

Is there a way to recover those e-mails? I mention as well that if I log in to Gmail website those mails are not here anymore as well?!

Can anybody help me?

Regards

Hi artur285,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having trouble with email on your Mac. I’m happy to help.

To isolate whether this is an issue with your Gmail account or the Mail app, you’ll want to see if your emails are in your Trash / Archive folder on the Gmail website.

If they are not, you’ll want to contact Gmail support.

Take care.

Hi Michael

thanks for your reply.

it cannot be Gmail issue, I am using 3 different emails on Gmail and one on Yahoo.

it seems that all accounts has been cleared from emails older than a month since I am using Mail App on my mac

i wouldn’t mind if it was only last month but it cleared everything!! I had valuable documentation on it and it’s all gone now. I am trying now to use time machine but I doubt it will help
