Can’t watch Apple TV+ thru my Apple TV box. I can open the Apple TV+ app from my Apple box. It sends a code to my iPhone, but I never get a prompt from the Apple TV to enter the code preventing me from watching Apple TV+ through my Apple box. Any suggestions?

Are you certain about the Apple TV (4th generation)?
It is a known limitation of the Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) to not have a prompt for the verification code. The workaround for those models is here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250420575
Apple TV (4th generation or later) should be smart/modern enough to prompt for the verification code.
Do verify its software version, and update if needed.

Thank you for the fix. I was wrong. I have a gen 2 or 3 box, but the solution you provided worked. Unfortunely I have to log in twice as I don’t get the verification code sent to my phone until after I log in the first time. But I can deal with the minor double entry for now.
