New security feature on MacBook Pro

Hi I am trying to get into my MacBook and it’s saying i need to enter a password is required after restart. So I just read about this is some new security thing so how do I get into my MacBook when the passcode has not been used to unlock it in the past six days and my touch ID has not unlocked it in the past 8 hours and I can’t remember my passcode? Shouldn’t I be able to do it with one of my other devices like my iPhone or ipad? Thank you.
