Authenticity of an email

My iphone has been lost two weeks ago in iran.now i recieved an email from find my which tells the location of my iphone in afghanistan. Is it from apple?

Apple DOES NOT send you any e-mail message if your iphone has been found.

Of course that e-mail it's a scam attempt. DO NOT respond, nor give your personal info to anyone.

No, Apple does not send such messages.

The message will be from someone that has your phone, and is trying to steal your information.
