Black screen/Can't answer calls or manually power off phone

I can't access my phone pass entering in my passcode (face id is currently not working), I can't swipe up the white bar to exit out and I can't receive text messages but can receive phone calls but I can't pick the call because it doesn't show who the caller is or the option to answer the call. My phone was working fine last night and early this morning before I came into work.
