Command-Shift-4 and select the area you want to show.
If you open a screenshot in Preview it opens with the title bar visible.
The OP has said he posted his screenshot, but then added the Preview apps tool bar at the bottom.
He has posted two different screenshots, he is not showing you a single image where the tool bar appears at the bottom.
For example, a screenshot of your post.
A screenshot of your post opened in Preview,
Oh the toolbar, why didn't you say so! Lol foolish me, I was looking at what was above it (the screenshot itself) which looked like some kind of info about the screenshot. Yes, that is normal and I am not! 😎
That is the titlebar of Preview, which is normal when you open a screenshot in Preview.
That is how I take the screen shot but it shows up with a title bar above it that I would like to remove.
That's odd can you post one of the screenshots?
When I attached the screen shot, only the text appeared so I screen shot the title bar and attached. This title bar is always above the text or photo when I attempt to save it somewhere.
But after you save it is it in the saved screenshot?
Ah, thanks! :)
I've opened many screenshots in Preview and never saw that?
I finally tried exporting the screen shot as PDF and the toolbar went away - thanks
