iPhone 11 Pro cannot do initial start up due to update error

New Fancy Iphone 11 pro will not/cannot get past update in initial setup. It will not allow Apple Itunes to do it either due to having not been set up yet. I have tried multiple WiFi locations. I have started over with the phone multiple times, tried various on-line methods of putting phone to sleep and waking it up multiple times. My last idea involves a sledge hammer, that may be the only enjoyable thing i get from this

This is the worst phone i have ever owned and i have owned it all of 12 hours.
