Someone hacked into my email which is my Apple ID

Can I set a factory restore on my iPad without having to go into my Apple ID email account? Someone hacked my email and I can no longer get into the actual email. I can still get into my Apple ID though.

As long as you can use your Apple ID, you should be able to.

Have you tried going to your email provider's web site to see if you can reset the password for the email account?

Do you have another email address you can use for your Apple ID so you can access the email for the account?
