Needing help

Hi I have purchased an ipad and it is still locked to the previous owners details, I dont know the previous owners number or email is there a way i can unlock it to reset it in my name?

iPad Pro 9.7-inch WiFi, Cellular

activation lock is a theft protection it's located on apples servers not on your physical device

Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support

That's only posible with the previous owner. He has secured his Ipad. it could be possible that you bought a ipad from

someone stolen Ipad. SO without the previous or first owner it's not possible to resset the password. So becarefull what you buy second hand.
