Ipod v 1.1.3 not detected on windows 10

Ipod not detected on Windows 10. My old version Ipod nano (Version 1.1.3 / Model MA477J).

PC with Windows 7 Prof (64-bit) w/ USB 2 ports - Ipod was able to be detected on winExplorer and Itunes Version 12.10.4.2

PC with Windows 10 (64-bit) w/ USB 3 ports - Ipod was unable to be detected on winExplorer and Itunes Version 12.10.4.2

I change my PC to an upgraded version and unluckily my Ipod was not detected anymore but on the Ipod status it is displaying a charging status. Under device manager USB controllers there are no errors.

I tried this procedure https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204275 and even update my usb drivers but still no detection occurred on windows but only a charging state at the ipod.

I tried to use an old PC on my company w/ win7 and my ipod was able to be detected, Can anyone from apple community Identify what's causing the detection issue, is it caused by Windows 10 or the USB 3? I like my Ipod and still working great but it should be at least able to detect or sync using the newest PC or Laptop. Looking forward for some enlightenment. Thanks

See iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows - Apple Community. In principle it shouldn't matter, but in Windows 10 you may find that the direct download version of iTunes from https://apple.com/itunes/download/win64 works better for you than the version from the Microsoft Store.

Hi tt2,

Sorry for the late feedback as I need to re-verify again on my old pc at company, I did the recommendation as stated from your links on my new computer and even bought new cables but it still wasn't able to detect correctly the ipod. I went back to the old pc w/ windows 7 and tried to transfer music and there were no disconnect.

Below are the errors the I encountered on the new PC using windows 10 at USB 3.1

Thanks and Regards

jac
