Deleting purchased apps to block from kids redownloading.

How do I permanently delete an app purchase so that my children cannot simply redownload the app after I remove it from their device? I’ve seen how to hide it, but I want it permanently gone. They keep getting around the parental controls that should block them from downloading apps so I just want to remove them forever.

Disabling re-download of deleted apps Has it been updated where parents can delete apps and disable the ability to redownload the app unless they go through parental controls again? There has to be a way to delete an app and not allow re-download unless the minor asks for permission again, right? I currently can only set a 1 min time limit on the app as my son keeps downloading the app which he can do without asking for approval as it has been previously downloaded, surely apple has fixed this flaw

You cannot permanently delete your purchase history. You can hide apps, Hide App Store purchases - Apple Support
