Badges/Awards not showing up in Activity App

I had a perfect move month this past January 2020 and the badge didn’t show up! 😞 Anyone know how to fix this?

The app has been a bit off sync since the last couple of updates. I was hoping this last one would fix things. I have an Apple Watch 2, software version 6.1.2.

Thanks!

I have an IPhone XS with the latest software update on both my phone and watch and my awards are still not updating. I am referring to just daily awards not monthly challenges. For instance yesterday being sunday I should have received perfect standing week, perfect exercise week, and a 200% move award. None of these have updated. I have restarted both my phone and my watch.

Hi danaf694,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand you haven't received an award for January activity.

Have you received an award since making this post? It sounds like this information, from the resource titled Earn Activity awards using your Apple Watch may apply:

"Get help

Find your issue below. If you don't see your issue, contact Apple Support

If you complete a goal, but don't earn the award

You will earn the award within 9 days of completing the Activity Challenge.

If you don't see Activity challenges on your iPhone or Apple Watch

If an Activity challenge already occurred, it won't appear on your Awards tab.

After each step, see if the challenge appears:

  1. Make sure that the software on your iPhone and Apple Watch is up to date.
  2. Make sure that your Apple Watch can connect to Wi-Fi, so it can download the challenge.

Some challenges are offered in certain regions only. To check your region on your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then tap General > Language & Region."

I hope this helps.

Take care.

I got a resolution through Apple helpdesk. The person on the other side of the phone was very helpful and patient through the process which took about 20 min. here is what I had to do, to get the badge back on Activity bashboard -

Step 1 - Update Iphone to latest version

Step 2 - Update Apple watch to latest version

After Step 1 & 2 nothing happened. Then I was asked to move to Step 3 -

Step 3 - Unpair watch

Step 4 - Repair watch

After Step 4 my badges are back :)

It's disappointing, but apparently that (a new phone) is the only thing people can tell about that. (I just recently did a repost under https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251223450 as well)

Throw away all your devices and buy new ones... Increase the electronic scrap...

I mean, we're not talking about iOS 10 or 11, but just one release below the current one. It get's supplied with security fixes and feature enhancements - and apparently bugs (the ghost badges came with 12.5.2), but no resolution for those within two updates?

(yes, although I don't have the issue, my countenance reduces with every month and post as I'm the tech guy, i.e. the one who has to get this resolved)

My girlfriend has a 5S (latest ed., 12.5.4 is the max), and she wouldn't have the watch if I wouldn't have bought it. After about two years of enjoyment, she's really disappointed now as she fulfills every challenge (perfect months and monthly specials) and has no visible reward. She definitely won't buy any new device (phone or watch), and after three months she starts to even thinks of turning away from Apple... Really sad, as I dragged her away from Android.

NB: She likes to have "a phone, not a slate", so as long as there is no new iPhone in 5S/SE size, new hardware from Apple is not an option.

As already stated this is an ios12 problem that hasn't got a fix as yet,the only solution at the moment is to upgrade to a device with ios13.
