Dictionary 'Look Up' Does Not Work In Powerpoint

Hi,

I have the 'tap with three fingers' gesture set up for my trackpad on my MacBook Pro so that it should look up the definition of the word that I tap on using the default dictionary app.

However this feature does not work in powerpoint. Any ideas why or how I can get it to work please?

it is working in Safari and MS Word just fine.

Not all third party apps can be expected to be fully supported in the macOS

You can try the built in Keynote.app as an alterntive if this is mission critical to your work flow.
