battery service warning 2013 Macbook Air

I just noticed this warning. I'm running MacOS Mohave 10.14.16. The computer seems to be operating normally and the battery doesn't seem to be discharging at fast rate. Charge cycles are only 108 (I use it plugged in most of the time).

Do I need to take it in for replacement? Or should I follow some online fixes first, e.g., upgrade OS, recalibrate battery, etc)?

If the message is to take the battery in for service, then you should. Updating the OS will do nothing. So, make an appointment starting by contacting support (upper right corner) for a battery problem. Batteries can swell and damage other parts if there is a problem.
