Gmail keeps signing out

Hi,

My current problem keeps on happening since I installed Catalina. My GMail account in Apple Mail keeps on signing out.

I tried removing all of my accounts from Apple Mail and adding them back again, but didn't solve it.

I even tried removing my 2fa on google so that it could login automatically.

It always need to open safari and reconnect to the account. Once it's done, I'd say it last for about an hour and then I have to do it again.. very annoying.

My gmail is set up as recommended by Google, imap activated and even tried manually entering stmp values.

Mail settings are on updating every 15min so I don't think it's a over-updating issue that signs me out.

Weird thing, works perfectly fine on my Iphone..

I understand that Gmail keeps signing out of your Mail app on your Mac. I can see how that would be frustrating, and I want to offer my support.

To start, since Safari is included in your macOS, you’ll want to ensure that your Mac is up-to-date.

Hi cp from OH,

Yes both my Mac and Safari are up to date.

I thought i figured it out following someone else advice (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250293823) on the forum of removing the account info in the keychain, and then adding back the Google account and leaving it at default settings with all the check boxes checked (Mail, Contacts, Calendar and Notes).

Turns out the problem came back and it keeps on disconnecting.

I don't know what to anymore. Catalina was just reinstalled two weeks ago.
