I have an iPhone 11 (iOS13) and an Apple Watch series 4. If I leave my apple watch at home and my friends try to locate me it shows them that I am home. How do I chose which Apple Device I own to share my location?

Tap settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name at the top, tap Find My and set it there by choosing use this device as my location and turn on share location.

It’s interesting Michael Black and I came to the same conclusion when actually the particular device is selected somewhat differently than we both suggested.
“This Device and cellular Apple Watches” it is not selectable and I cannot change it.
Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Share My Location
