Can't enable safari extensions
I am on the latest version of MacOS and Safari and I am unable to click the checkmark to enable Safari extensions. However, I am able to click disable on an extension. Any ideas?

Yes. Quit any apps that put overlays on screen, such as F.lux or any other apps that augment system wide display. That, or restart in Safe Mode (with shift down) and make your changes in the Safari Preferences.
Hi,
Did you manage to solve this problem? I have the exact same issue. thanks K
I have tried all of the possible solutions mentioned in this thread and none have worked for me unfortunately. Thank you K.
Thank you but no I've tried that also before and just tried now, sorry no luck. :)
Thanks K, unfortunately same here, I'm just going to chock it down as a macOS behaviour issue.
I am sorry to hear this, are you on the latest update ?
What do you use it for besides cleaning cache files?
I only used the maintenance part of Onyx. I've being using it for at least the past 10 years...
Verify your software is up to date.
Hmm this third party app, have you poked around on 1PASSWORD support forums, one quick example:
https://discussions.agilebits.com/search?Search=extension+in+safari
"The Safari extension started being included only from 1Password 7. The extensions for other browsers need to be downloaded separately."
Ah, sorry. I was responding to leroydouglas who shared a screenshot of his active extensions. The problem is when they’re disabled, they can’t be re-enabled, but that means that many people likely never know there’s a problem. I was curious if he’d tried disabling them.
As far as I know, there’s no way to re-enable them until Apple fixes this bug. I have the same problem.
I found this online it worked for me.
can you go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions, then navigate to a differentpane (e.g., Advanced), and then back to Extensions? With any luck, your checkboxes might be enable-able now.
I hope it works for you. Good luck
Boot into Safe Mode and try removing LittleSnitch from there. It's really not needed and just takes up system resources running in the background all the time.
