OWC Thunderbolt 2 Dock and 10.13.6

Anyone else have issues with USB ports on an OWC Thunderbolt 2 Dock after applying this update (10.13.6)? HDMI still works on the dock but I can't get anything (optical drive, external hard drives, webcam) to connect through any of the USB ports.

13.3.1 breaks external DisplayPort monitor support for my dock I have a 2021 16" MacBook Pro. Up through MacOS 13.3 I used a Dell D6000 USB-C dock to power my keyboard, mouse, speakers, camera, and 3 external monitors: 1 via HDMI, and 2 via DisplayPort to DVI adapters. After upgrading to MacOS 13.3.1 the DisplayPort connected monitors don't work. They are not recognized in Settings->Display, nor are they found in the System Report USB tab where they appeared before. They work when connected to individual USB-C to DVI dongles (skipping DisplayPort), but not the dock. I have tried all combinations of resetting the dock, MacBook, and monitors. I am convinced that the update broke something related to DisplayPort external monitors connected to older docks. Earlier this year, an update broke my using a 2011 iMac as an external monitor connected to a dock (via raw DisplayPort, not Thunderbolt). Has anyone else noticed this and fixed it?

USB-C Docking station with MBP 16 inch Hello, I'm having trouble in using a Dell WD19 USB-C docking station with my Macbook Pro 16. Power delivery works fine, same as the docking ports but the display connected to the Dock won't show any image, it just stays black. If i go to System Preferences -> Display i can see the 2nd display connected. If i unplug the dock and plug it back in lots of times (20+) the external display starts showing the image. The weird thing is that i use the exact same setup, docking + external display with a 2019 MBP 15 as well, and i never had a problem. Both systems are running the latest version of the OS. Any idea on how to fix this issue? Thank you!

USB 3 adapters for Thunderbolt 2 ports in Mac Pro late 2013? The Mac Pro late 2013 has six Thunderbolt 2 ports and four USB 3 ports. I have no devices that need Thunderbolt 2 ports and lots of devices that need USB ports. But I cannot find a simple way to adapt a Thunderbolt 2 into a USB. There are some expensive docks out there but most have bad reviews or are out of stock indefinitely or both. I could probably just make do with a USB 3 dock plugged into a USB 3 port, but even those have problematic reviews and high prices. Any suggestions? Two of the USB 3 ports are permanently occupied by the mouse and the keyboard. One has the backup external drive. That leaves one USB port for anything else. I have noticed that it is becoming unreliable for an external hard drive through years of getting plugged into and unplugged. Is there another way to connect the mouse and keyboard? I imagine they don't need a super fast connection.

Contact OWC support, and ask? They’ll likely know whether there’s issues, available firmware updates, or whether this is a hardware problem that coincidentally happened to start around the time of the macOS patch...
