Bose Soundtouch App Download

I had the exact same issue. Just bought a new Mac. I found the answer on the Bose Community Support site and followed the instructions. It works!

Follow the link (We do have a post) that appears in the next sentence which I pulled from the Bose site:

From your description of this issue, it sounds like your Mac is running IOS 10.15 Catalina. We do have a post that details why this happens on Catalina and how to install the app onto your Mac when it does. 

Then it appears that the current app won't run on your new kit. Hence, the developer needing to update it.
