hello So I have an iPad Air and I wanted to know if I would be able to exchange it

You cannot exchange it, but you can trade it in and buy another model.

Apple works with third party companies; if yours goes through the initial trade in process, you will get a box to send it in. That company will then determine a final offer when they've looked at it. You'll have to check how you would be getting that money.
So if I trade it in I wouldn’t get any money back ?
