Honda Accord 2020 CarPlay - No Smartphone Device Detected

Hi there, so I just got a brand new 2020 Honda Civic and days before I downloaded iOS 13.3.1. Carplay works for like a few hours and then just freezes no matter what app I use. After it crashes, no matter if I reboot or use a brand new Apple 1st party USB cable, I get "No Smartphone Device Detected" message even though the phone charges. I tried to do Forget car in iOS settings and reboot and reconnect, but still the same error messages.

The only temp fix I can figure out is I have to factory reset the panel to get the iPhone to re-prompt the whole process again.

I saw this article here https://www.autoevolution.com/news/carplay-users-beware-latest-iphone-update-breaks-down-wired-wireless-systems-141000.html but don't know if this is related to all of this.

Can anyone please help with this?

Thank you!

UPDATE: So in the end after a ton of troubleshooting with Apple Support, Honda determined the Infotainment was defective. They fully replaced it and it now has work for 6 plus days without any issue.
