iPhone 13 Pro crashing regularly

Have got the new iPhone 13 Pro and have been noticing two kinds of crash which I didn't have on my old phone (iPhone XS).

Firstly, I've had random times where my phone has frozen, then the screen goes bright pink/magenta for a few seconds, before rebooting itself. It's done it multiple times a day since I got it last week. Really not happy about this and wondering if it's a known issue which will be fixed.

Secondly (and I think this is a more widespread issue), is that Apple CarPlay is totally crashing when using the phone and any sort of streaming app. I'm able to use Maps etc as a sat nav no problem, but as soon as I start to try playing music etc, the connection is instantly stopped. I'm driving a 2019 Audi if that helps.

Any ideas welcome!

Thanks

I just had this exact thing happen to me it was so weird. Did you ever figure out a fix for this or did you get the phone replaced?

My spouse travelled for a wedding to NC with her new iPhone 13 pro. After a couple of days (Oct 5) the screen froze and the phone stopped working. The Tech at the Apple store couldn't get it to start. The wait time for a replacement at the Apple store is long - was told the replacement would arrive on November 2 as new customers get their phones-while existing customers can wait! Her friend reached out to customer service and have promised sending a replacement before November 2. So waiting on it. Till then spouse is without a phone.

This is to highlight the non-fixable problem with the iPhone 13 pro and the absurd wait time to get a working phone. Apple should have a loaner policy if they can't fix a brand new product, so that the customer is not stranded without a phone.
