AirPods not showing up

I came home from volleyball last week and I listened to some of my playlists for a while then ate dinner. After that I couldn’t find my AirPods, but I thought I just had lost them in my room so I didn’t worry about it. But today I went on the “find my” app and all that showed up was all my other apple products but my AirPods. Please someone tell me what’s going on!!!!
