Download problem with High Sierra

I tried downloading Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6 on 02/16/2020 from the Apple website for my MacBook Pro, 15-inch, Mid-2010 laptop and got the following error message: "This copy of the Install macOS High Sierra application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install macOS." So...anyone experience a similar problem and/or found a workaround solution?

Delete the copy of "Install macOS High Sierra" from your Applications folder and try downloading it again while in Safe Mode.
