IOS Mail Sync (on iPad) not reflecting mail changes made on iMac

I have cleaned up my Inbox on the iMac, down to two messages, but the iPad still shows all the emails in the inbox - emails I have either moved to a different mailbox, or indeed deleted and "in the bin".

I refresh the folders, and it says "updated just now", but emails still show in the Inbox.

Wondering if anyone has seen this behaviour, and can suggest a remedy.

iCloud mail sync in iOS 18 / Sequoia Since updating to iOS 18 / Mac OS Sequoia have had issues with syncing deleted iCloud mails If I delete an iCloud email message in Mac Mail it stays in the inbox on the iPhone (even still shows as unread if I never read it). It is also visible in the Bin folder so it's successfully moved there... just not taken out of the inbox. If I delete a message on the iPhone it is successfully synced/deleted on the Mac so the problem is only one way. Gmail accounts work fine - it's just iCloud mail. Any one else seen this / is it just me? Jon

Mail not syncing across devices I am currently using a MacBook Air, with outlook, iPad Air with Mail, iPhone 13 Pro Max with Mail. All have been updated to the latest OS. I am finding that when I delete a message or move to a folder then corresponding message is not deleted or moved on the other two devices. I have switched off the MacBook and tried to see if the synchronisation still occurs between the iPad and iPhone in case it is an Outlook generated issue but this is not happening either. if it is a OS bug then may need to wait for next update but any help in the meantime would be greatly appreciated.

Try updating to iPadOS 13.3.1 to see if it resolves your problem.

Settings > General > Software Update
