Connecting 2x dongles.

Hey apple community!

I bought my first macbook pro 13 inch last year... yes the one with only 2 ports :)

Since my other cpu broke down, I need to use the macbook pro as a DAW for few weeks and I need to be able to connect several things to it.

I have one of these hyperdrive dongle (Uses 2x usb-c and I get 2x usb-c, 2x USB, HDMI, SD card slot).

I currently use both of the usb 2.0 slots plus one of the usb-c to charge the laptop and I need 1-2 extra usb 2.0 slots to make my gear work. So i have one USB-C available, i need additional 1-2x usb 2.0 slots to make this work.

Would it be possible to connect another dongle (through the available usb-c slot) to my hyperdrive dongle?

Im thinking like a single port conversion dongle (usb-c to usb 2.0) to power unifying receiver (Logitech bluetooth keyboard/mouse) or external hard drive?

Would it be possible to get 2x usb 2.0 ports from a single usb-c dongle port that could power both?

Maybe this sounds ridiculous but I thought i'd give it a shot ;)

Thanks in advance,

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14
