Pasting is reversed on Mojave

On Mojave, when I cmd+C some folders in finder, then paste them into a google sheet (to paste the folder names) it has started pasting them in reverse order.

Well, more accurately, depending on how I selected them. If I drag to select them from the bottom, it reverses the order, but if I select them from the top, or cmd+A it pastes them in the correct order.

I understand having the choice could be helpful to some people... but is there a way to turn it off?

If Google Sheets is residing on a Google server (e.g. Google Drive), or even a local Google Drive application showing you Google sheets as an apparent local paradigm, then that is still a network connection, and not entirely a local Apple clipboard copy/paste activity between to local applications.

I suspect that Google is slurping content from the Apple clipboard, and transmitting it over the network to Google Sheets and not adhering to the original clipboard copy order.
