@.mac email going to recipient's junk

For several months now, I have experienced emails regularly going to the recipients Junk mailbox. Is this common with the Apple addresses? This is to people I don't know as well as ones I do, so it is is impractical to ask them to configure their mail app. The issue does not occur if I send from a Googlemail address.

Any advice/info appreciated.

No it's not common, and yes, the only solution is for them to configure their spam filters correctly.
