Weird alarm sound

My phone was locked basically. Got frozen on the “Gameloft” load screen for the Disney kingdoms game. After about 10 minutes trying to restart it I hit the side button 5 times really quick out of frustration and then this weird fire alarm sound went off 3 times. Any idea what that sound was? My phone was hot but not sure if that’s the reason?

That sounds like an attempt to use Emergency SOS, to contact 9-1-1. Go to Settings>Emergency SOS, you will see that rapidly pressing the side button 5 times will contact Emergency services.
