iPad connection to HDMI and Ethernet same time

Trying to figure out if there is a way to connect my iPad to an external monitor, but receive data over Ethernet (for instance to switch song on the OnSong App). I have both adapters separately (Lightning to Ethernet and Lightning to HDMI) but would need those in one piece.

What about a Lightning adapter to >HDMI and USB and then get a second adapter from USB to Ethernet ? Does that work ?Any issues with USB 2 or 3 ? To shaky ?

Yes - You should be able to to find a USB-C hub that includes a traditional network port. ProCIV used to make a suitable model, but there are others.


The commonly available USB-C hubs, designed specifically for Mac and iPad Pro, typically include ports for HDMI, SD, USB Type-A, USB-C - and some also include a 3.5mm Audio jack that is otherwise deleted from the iPad Pro (e.g., Hyperdrive and Satechi).
