How do I send and receive text messages through Bluetooth on my iPhone 8? I go into Bluetooth and choose my car, but there is no blue circle with the i in it. There is no turn on notifications access.

You make no settings changes in Bluetooth for text messaging. If you have connected your iPhone to your vehicle, the only way you can send/receive text messages through the car is if the car supports that. Not all vehicles do. You don't actually send/receive text messages via Bluetooth.
What year/make vehicle do you have? Do you have CarPlay?

It works!!!! I tried it and it happened!
I have no way of knowing if I have a call or text message because the ding/ring does not sound. Is there a way to turn that on? Not supposed to touch the phone in Massachusetts!
