Missing menus in project settings
Hi there,
When I open project settings I see only three submenus: Metronome, Smart Tempo and Audio. However, when I import project settings from older projects made before this bug appeared, I import all the settings from the remaining submenus. Any ideas?
Background info:
I am running on a Mid-2010 iMac with Sierra Version 10.12.6 as I've understood that it is not recommended to install newer OS to a machine from that time. Therefore I also cannot install the latest Logic Pro X version, so I'm running 10.4.4. App Store asked if I wanted latest compatible version and then picked that one.
I recently moved my user folder from a smaller partition on my internal drive to a much larger partition (this was the whole point of partitioning in the first place, but I forgot to actually move my user folder). I followed these instructions to do so: https://www.idownloadblog.com/2017/01/25/how-to-move-mac-user-folder-to-another-drive/. Everything else has gone smoothly with this transition btw.
When I then opened logic again it seemed to have updated itself somehow, since I noticed grafical changes (more icons when creating tracks, wooden bar on the left side of the project window etc.) The music was playing just fine, but then I noticed that most of my project settings menus were gone.
I then reinstalled the Application by first uninstalling and then downloading through the App Store the latest version of Logic compatible with my OS.
I know that moving a user folder is a big deal so I'm not surprised to have weird issues coming in now. Any help would be much appreciated since I'd love to be able to change settings in my projects!! Thanks in advance.
