Censored music I've bought the explicit versions of some songs and they are being censored which is really frustrating. I have searched on the net and tried all the fixes but nothing is working! Im about ready to ditch all my Apple crap. Can anyone help with some USEFUL advice. (Yes, I HAVE bought the explicit versions). This happens on all my apple devices.

Apple Music censoring music I’ve had Apple Music for a long time now and have always had “filter explicit music” turned off. I’m an adult and my kids don’t use it so no need to have it on. I recently upgraded to the iPhone 15 pro max and installed iOS 17. I just started to notice my music is now being censored. Songs I know have explicit content plays but the explicit parts are blanked out, why? “Content and privacy restrictions” is turned off so that’s not it. Idk what else is on all of a sudden to cause this. Help please it’s frustrating.

I have faced the same issue and resolved it. Just go to 'Setting->Screen Time' now you have to turn off the 'Share Across Devices' option. Now clear all the iTunes Store and Apple Music app. Then just open the iTunes Store(try to play any explicit content) it will ask for your permission on explicit content. Please give the permission on explicit content. Now try on Apple Music, it will work. You can now change 'Share Across Devices' setting to any state.
